Q: How to install a hid conversion kit for a 2007 dodge ram 1500?
Any Ideas I tryed last night but failed pluged everything in lights dont turn on
A: try wiring them like this wire the positive feed side wire that comes off the main lighting harness to the relay for the hid lights this way the power from the light switch will activate the hid lights and not put a strain on the main wiring system,for a power source for the hid lights go off the battery or the fuse panel and make sure you use a fused circuit this way when the key is off the lights will automatically turn off,good luck.
Q: I rolled my 2007 1500 dodge ram onto its side and the remote start doesnt work anymore how do i fix it?
nothing is wrong with the engine and there isn't that much damage to my truck except for the passenger side. i have driven it want it still runs like a champ how do i fix my remote start? or were should i look? nothing is wrong with the remote because when i push it my truck honks once but it normally honks twice and then starts up???? please help
A: Dang, why not add details of how you rolled the truck.
This is why I bought my truck without any extras, just a V-8 & 4x4.
No electric windows, remote start, electric locks or fancy stereo.
Q: Help! Having problems with 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with 52000 miles. I purchased it brand new. It has never been wrecked or involved in any accidents. Lately, when decelerating from cruising speed to a dead stop at approx 25 mph there is a sudden jerk like transmission changing to lower gear, no change in RPM. I have changed both filters in transmission and transmission fluid. Any ideas?

Q: Front end rattling on a 2007 dodge ram cummins?
2007 2500 cummins rattling, have upgraded psc steering stabilizer, new upper and lower ball joints, and the upgraded 09' tie rod kit
the steering stabilizer was something i installed, the tie rods and ball joints an alignment shop installed, all of the previous were installed to correct this rattling. it is very faint, but it can be felt best when the truck is warmed up (maybe the bushing/connections have warmed) and going over a gravel surface
A: Did you use the old stethescope to see if it is a motor noise? if you dont have a stethescope, a looooooonnnnnnnggg handle screwdriver will work, just remember to place the tool, then put your ear to it so you dont get impaled. also, if the upgrades to your suspension include polyurethane bushings do not bother looking, they are noisy to begin with
Q: My bf bought a nice 2007 dodge ram, and he put sliver truck nuts on it?
Now he wants to put a sticker on the back window saying, "Powered by Testosterone!" Me and him both pay the loan, and the insurance, what should I say, I really don't like all this masculine stuff for a truck?
A: Simple, just modify the sticker so it says

Im thinking about getting 2007 dodge ram truck but this is my first time truck buyer so i want to know which one i should get?
i know that diesel last longer but has costy maintenance check up but got better MPG than gas but also hemi is really strong engine and also cheaper to buy than diesel.
The type of driving and usage of the truck will be very light like i just tow 4 wheelers, wave runner, use the truck for camping, mountain, etc but nothing serious towing.
Hemi trucks ofter lifetime power trans warranty but diesel only ofter 100,000
im looking for trucks that last long, good MPG, worth my money to buy. which one you suggest?
A: If it were me i would get the Hemi. It dose not sound like you need a diesel engine. The Cummings is the better engine but if you don't need to tow big trailers why waste your money. The hemi has enough power for what you want to use it for. The diesel engine will last longer but the body on the truck will still rust out in 10-15 years. And the maintenance on the diesel is much higher. They take 12L of oil and should get a new fuel filter every other oil change if you don't want to replace alot of injection pumps. The hemi's do have 16 spark plugs but they last a lot longer than normal. I have never needed to replace one under 40000miles.
Q: Iam tryin to hook up a new radio on my 2007 dodge ram what all do i need besides the mounting kit?

I dont think it will due to a lot of newer model vehicles the diagnostics are tied into the radio wire harness.

A: i can tell you this there good vehicles ,i don't own one but i service a few of the newer ones,they didn't change that much over the 06,s but they do hold up well,their building a lot better truck now than they was 20 years ago,the ones built now should still be going 20 years from now if they are taken cars of and get good maintenance work done on them,good luck on it,and enjoy it,they drive good,and have enough power to get the job done,good luck with it.
Q: 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 Death Shake, can this be resolved?
No one seems to have an answer for this problem with the above mentioned truck I own.
A: on a 2007 model you shouldn't be having that kind of a problem with it,have you checked the lower control arm bushings and the ball joints,a friend of mine just bought a 06 model with the same problem,the owner told him no dealer could find it nor could a front end shop,when we checked it today we found the lower ball joints about to fall out of it,just a thought,a good front end or suspension shop should be able to locate that problem for you,id recheck everything on it ,there has to be something that has been over looked,good luck.

A: i ran this through one company and around 357.00 bucks a month for 16 year old to drive it unless it was in your parents name and you on as a part time driver that's what it would be,way to much by the time you figure in gas and expenses that would be a lot to pay to drive a truck like that ,my brother lives in Miami and he pays around 200 a month and he,s 39 years old to drive a dodge ram hemi,good luck.
Q: Are there any performance parts for a 2007 dodge ram 1500 V6 ?
A: yes right now they have the performance exhaust ,plus a programmer,and there's also a better air system for it,there s few that will help it,after a certain point though your just throwing money at it,you can only do so much to it,it does have its limits,good luck.

Q: Has anyone had any steering or suspension problems with their 2007 Dodge Ram?
My steering wheel recently locked up for a split second on a left turn causing me to hit a concrete pole. Of course, Chrysler says damage to steering done on impact. I know better. This is a saftey issue for anyone who owns a 2007Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x2.
A: None so far on my '07, 2500 SLT HD, QC, 4 x 4, 5.9 Cummins.
But will keep an eye out for signs of that, now that you have mentioned it.

A: problly a 305/70/17. i run 295/75/17s on my 05 4wd ram. if you if you dont mind tire rub then go with a 305/75/17. i dont know about it if you have 20in rims.
Q: 2007 Dodge Ram makes a chime sound when brakes are applied. What does it mean?
A: i just ran across this one last week its a warning that there's a problem in the anti lock brakes,or that the light switch is malfunctioning,on it,i had to replace a light switch last week on one that was doing that,look at the abs light also sometimes it will flash when the buzzer comes on,good luck.
