Q: Does a 1995 Honda Civic EX Coupe have a CD Player?
Hi, I was wondering if the car mentioned above has a cd player already? I'm sure it doesn't have an AUX thing for an iPod right? Please let me know. Also, could I add a stereo that has an AUX after I buy it? Thanks a lot in advance! I'll appreciate any answers, advice, and tips.

A: Standard equipment is AM/FM/Cassette Audio System. You could add an aftermarket CD player and AUX interface, but it can be pricey. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-hATvUrRTmXl/app/car/mycar.aspx Since you have a cassette player, you can get the cassette adapter. I had one in my old car...it never failed like the FM transmitters! http://www.nextag.com/ipod-cassette-adapter/products-html?nxtg=66560a240525-13238ACE7F16B564

Q: Does anyone know where I could find a Haynes/Cilton's for 1995 Honda Civic and a 2000 Honda Civic?
Prefer a used one.

A: I've often seen them in my local library. That would the the cheapest and easiest way to get it. Otherwise your local high end auto parts store: Pep Boys, Advance Auto, Napa Auto, Autozone, etc... will usually have them all in stock ready to purchase. As well as most major bookstores. If you only need limited info you can source an online service manual. Here is a copy of one type of service manual, not a good one like Haynes or Chiltons, but one for free nonetheless: http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/

Q: Hello! How can I convert my 1995 Honda Civic into an FFV vehicle?
I mean, what changes do I have to do in the computer system and in the injection system as well? Can somebody give me a detailed description of the converting procedure? What do I have to buy at first etc... I'd be thankful.

A: What's a FFV?

Q: How hard is it to change an a/c compressor on a 1995 Honda civic cx?

A: This generally needs to be done by a certified AC mechanic. They have the correct tools to do the job. First you need a tool to suck all of the coolant out of the system so it can be recycled. You need to have the correct seals for the lines. You need the correct sensors to check the connections for leaks after the system is repaired. You need the correct equipment to vacuum all of the air out of the system or it will be impossible to get it to accept coolant. You need to know the correct amount of lubricant to add to the system or it won't last very long. Because of all of the special tools and skills needed, this type of repair is usually not done by a shade-tree mechanic.

A: The D16Z6 EX would walk over the D15B2 CRX. D15B2 STOCK hp: 92 D16Z6 STOCK hp:125 Even with the considerable weight difference, the Civic EX would win.

Q: I have 1995 Honda Civic VX , now out of the BLUE my MIL light? Runs Fine, Can't figure it out ?
I have tried the Gas Cap nothing different, CAR seems to be RUNNING FINE, I have had a SURGING we have adjusted the timing but nothing is working to make it stop. We have had my car since 1998 so we have upgraded several things, header, exhaust, replaced timing belt, basic maintenance, So the LIGHT is concerning to me. Any Ideas???

A: the first thing you want to do is diagnose the problem rather than spend your money on guesses. that gets pretty expensive. any time the MIL comes on a code is saved in the powertrain control module. There are about 50 things that are monitored or tested on and OBD I car that can trigger the light. most of them won't cause any driveability problems because the criteria for turning the light is when a condition is detected that could lead to excessive emissions the light is turned on. It isn't an indication of a "hard failure" in every case. I think on your car the connector to retrieve the stored codes is behind the right kickpanel (the vertical panel to the right of where the passenger puts their feet) that connector is a two pin connecor that is just hanging down from the top front. use a paper clip to jump the two terminals. then turn the ignition key to the ON position. The MIL should start to flash. count the number of long flashes (0.5 seconds) then count the number of short flashes (0.25 seconds). the long flashes have a value of 10 and the short flashes have a value of 1. add them together and you have your diagnostic trouble code. if I were to guess I would say the odds are strong that the problem is with the Oxygen sensor. probably a burnt out pre-heater element or a slow response rate. but thats just a guess based on probabilities; as I started with, guesses can be expensive hope that helps
