2007 Honda Civic
2007 Honda Civic questions and answers
Take a look at this great lense about the 2007 Honda Civic.
Q: About how much would a paint job cost on a 2007 Honda Civic Coupe?
I'm trying to buy a car, and i found a really good deal on a 2007 Honda Civic Coupe. The problem is that I despise the color. If i'm getting this car for so cheap I figure I can splurge a little with a paint job.
A: Painting a vehicle that doesn't need it is a terrible idea and investment.
A good paint job for a whole car is going to cost you about $4K, which is probably at least 1/3 to 1/2 value of the vehicle.
If you buy one of those Maaco $299 specials, everytime you get a rock chip, you will see the old color in the front and it will begin to fade within a few years.
Besides that, if you paint a car, it actually lowers the resale value of the vehicle if you ever got rid of it.
Personally, my thought is that the color doesn't make the car. I would buy it anyways except it it were like pink or purple.
If you can't stand the color, look for a different 2007 Civic. There has to be one for sale, somewhere.
Oh sorry....guessing I get the thumbs down since it wasn't what someone wanted to hear, despite it being true.
Q: What is the top speed of an American 2007 Honda Civic Sedan?
Since the honda civic speedometer is digital, it doesn't show how fast the car can go so what is its top speed?
A: A speedometer never shows how fast a car can really go. It depends on the type of Civic. Here are some test results:
C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 7.7 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 22.5 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 8.6 sec
Standing ΒΌ-mile: 16.1 sec @ 87 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 125 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 191 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.81 g

i just bought a used 2007 honda civic ex and it didnt come with a owners manual. so im trying to find out what kind of gas it takes

Q: What do you think of the 2007 Mazda 3 or 2007 Honda Civic for a 16 year old girl?
For my first car. One of my guy friends laughed when I said I might get a Mazda 3. Is it not cool or something?
A: The Mazda 3 is a very nice car. Your friend is a schmuck for being uneducated. The Mazda 3 is one of the highest rated & most reliable cars being made today. Point that out to him when his car breaks down, if he has one.
Q: what is the difference between the 2006 and 2007 honda civic sedan?
..whats the difference between the two besides the year? is there even any?
A: Feature-wise, not many changes - XM Satellite Radio is added as standard on navigation-equipped EX and Hybrid models, and as mentioned before, a MP3/Aux input jack is added to the LX.
Equipment-wise, there are a few TSB's from 2006, NHTSA reports 11 of them, ranging from transmission grinding to a revised immobilizer system. If you already purchased the vehicle prior to the TSB (technical service bulletin), they are usually repaired on a complaint basis only. However, going forward, it usually results in manufacturing or design changes to the offending part(s).
In other words, the 2007 model should be more refined than the 2006.

Q: how do you change the clock on a 2007 Honda Civic?
I have tried to turn the radio off, push the scan button, then push either the #4 or #5 preset radio-station button, but ot will not adjust the clock. Thank you for your help.
A: Hold the AM button for 5 seconds, it will start to blink. You can rest the time my using the large channel keys for the radio/cd player. Two of the keys have arrows. One key has a "H" and one key has a "M". H changes the hour and M changes the mintues. Once you have set the time just push the clock button again and you are done.
Q: How can I retrieve serial# of navigation of 2007 Honda Civic?
I need the serial # from my navigation system in order to recieve a code for the activation. I tried turning the car to battery (ignition key to I) then holing down keys 1 & 6 together, nothing pops out. It seems like the power button is not working so it doesnt really turn off the nav. system. Any suggestions?
A: Getting Honda Radio code or navigation code
Instructions from Honda:
https://radio-navicode.honda.com/
Call Honda USA at 1-800-999-1009 and give them your VIN and serial number for the radio and your registration &/or title (may need to fax it) and they will give you the radio code for free.

Q: Does anyone know anything about the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid?
I am trying to find out information on the 2007 Civic Hybrid but cannot find any information. When is it coming out? How much will it cost? Is it any different then the 2006? Also, I could use someones opinion on what I am considering selling for it. I have a very nice 2004 Mazda 3s which gets between 23 and 27 mpg. I drive 60 miles a day for work, so my thought was to save gas by getting the hybrid in its place? Is it worth paying 80 bucks a month more on a car payment though just to save gas? Can't make up my mind, so i thought i would hear out your opinons to help me.
Thanks!!!
A: Replacing batteries is not an issue. I know people who have over 200,000 miles on their hybrid and the batteries are still like new.

Q: how do i get a 2007 honda civic going straight in reverse????????
My car is a 2007 honda civic, so if anyone has that car and knows how it works that would be awesome
if i am going in reverse, and i turn my wheel all the way to the left in a parallel park, and i parallel park, and now I just want to back away from he car in front of me srtraight, i wan to be able to back out straight, so how many times do I have to turn the steering wheel to the right to get my car backing up straight?
A: Okay here is your answer. First of all pick up your keys, take a taxi to the nearest honda dealer and give them to a member of staff before saying to whoever you give the keys to "Please take my car back as I have no right whatsoever to be driving on any road."
it's similer to the question how long is a piece of string? The answer? Twice the distance from the middle to the end
Q: Could someone give me some info on the 2006 and 2007 Honda Civic from Consumer Reports.org?
I would like to see what the invoice price is... that's what I heard I should be looking for... for a used car. So for anyone who has an online account it would be very much appreciated.
A: The invoice price is not going to be available anymore because invoice only applies to new cars. You won't find a 'new' 2006 or 2007 Civics.
Consumer Reports recommends the current generation of the Civic (2006-2009).
Crash test results are impressive and it gets good marks for handling and overall ride. Manual transmission will average about 31 mpg and the automatic around 28.
If you would like to know more information and don't want to pay for a Consumer Reports account, go to your local library and check out the 2009 Consumer Reports Buyers Guide.
www.edmunds.com will give you reviews from actual owners of these vehicles.
Q: Does anyone know why my 2007 Honda civic squeaks?
When I start my car and backup my car starts to squeak. If I put on brakes the noise stops however when I start back driving it starts again. It may eventually stop after driving 4 awhile. It's really embrassing and I just want to know what it could possibly be.
A: If it only happens while the brakes are off and then stops while applied it is most likely the wear indicator scraping against your rotors, brakes come with this feature to let you know they are dangerously worn and need to be replaced.
