Q: Can or is there any way to put an alpine audio system in my 2008 honda accord?
It is an ex-l i think. it doesnt have a navigation system in it.
A: Yes there is a way. You could definitely change the head unit on the accord. You will begin to run into problems when you decide to install alpine speakers. The accord can fit 6 3/4" speakers but they would have to be made to fit, meaning you would probably have to make some alterations to the speaker area in order to make the speakers fit. The alpine speakers come with custom brackets and screws but it will still be a slight hassle to get the perfect fit but it can be done if your determined enough or if you hire a professional to install it.
I was told that the alpine speakers could not fit at all but i took out the time and am now enjoying my system. I have a hyundai. i didn't have to cut any metal or use brackets or anything but I had to rearrange some wiring and maneuver the speakers in order for them to fit moderately well and it has worked out well so far. It seems as if it could get complicated but it is doable if you have the patience. I just so happened to be in a tolerable mood during my install.
You won't have any problems as far as subwoofer and amp installation goes.

I just purchased today a new 2008 Honda Accord LXP Sedan Manual Transmition with only 29 miles and I am noticing a whistle sound whenever accelerating or I push the gas pedal. I also notice the whistle sound whenever I turn the Steering wheels either right or left. Is this normal for a new car or a break in period. Your help is greatly appreciated.
A: Probably just the power steering pump breaking in.
Check with the dealer, i'm sure its nothing.
Q: Just Curious, have anyone having a transmission failure for 2008 Honda Accord Yet?
The reason why I ask is because there are some issues with the transmission defect back in 98-2003. Thanks
A: I've had my 08 coupe since October. Haven't had any problems yet. But hey..... thats what a warranty is for.

A: It depends on what options you want on the car. Keep in mind for the price of a new Accord you can get a lightly used Lexus ES, Acura TL, or Infiniti M35.
Q: Can I put bi-xenon headlights on my 2008 Honda Accord Coupe?
I want to upgrade my headlights to HIDs, but I'm not sure which ones to get. I know that bi-xenon bulbs are both high and low beams, but if it is too expensive I would just get the low beams. I would probably have a shop install these for me, and was just wondering about the approximate cost, and also, which headlights would be best for my car.
A: You'd have to get a whole new headlight assembly, and that will cost no less than $300 each. Bi-xenon is too much, just upgrade the HIDs.

contemplating whether to buy a 07 Accord or an 08 ...
A: '08 is supposed to be a redesign - so I'd say Sept 2008 when they want to make way for the 2009. But if you really want the 08 then buy it when you have a good down payment and can get a good rate on a loan.
Otherwise, now-September is PRIME time to get the '07's, because with a redesign, they want to sell off the older body style. If you love it, buy it, and you can get a good deal AND have lower excise taxes if you're in a state where you have to pay that.

we went to the dealer to get a deal going, and they said they had the car and said to come back the following monday to pick it up, but now they said they made a mistake and told us that they were all sold out, is the car that popular or somthing? or is it just that there aren't enought to go around.
