2007 Toyota Camry questions and answers
Take a look at this great lense about the 2007 Toyota Camry.
Q: How do I remove the alternator fuse on a 2007 Toyota Camry?
I was changing the alternator out on my 07 Camry 4 cylinder when the output wire from the alternator shorted out against the engine causing my car to not start. I think it's the alternator fuse, but I can't figure out how to get it out. Any suggestions? Thanks
A: The Alt fuse is a large fuse that is bolted into the fuse box, you have to remove the fuse box turn it over take off the cover to access the screws that hold the fuse in.
I have seen this happen before, also will blow the fuse if you hook up the battery backwards.
Q: How do I turn off the traction control in my 2007 Toyota Camry?
I cant find the button to turn it off anywhere.
A: It is usually a button on the shifter or on the center console.
Q: Should I sell my 2007 Toyota Camry?
I have a nice Toyota Camry, 2007, with only 5200 miles. I was told on earlier recalls that I was exempt. Now, after recent Congressional testimony with all the "we're not sure" answers I'm nervous they don't know the extent of the problem. I see conflicting numbers around the number of incidents involving the gas pedals but now I'm nervous. I'm sure no one is going to buy a used Toyota these days so I guess I'd have to just buy a car and wait. What to do?
A: Toyota values are dropping, and will continue to depreciate due to the growing adverse publicity over Toyota's recalls and integrity. The sooner you unload it, the better. Also, the Camry's steering is under scrutiny, so there's a serious safety issue.
Q: Is it hard to install fog lights for my Toyota Camry 2007?
Mine didn't come with the fog lights, so I kinda wanting to install them.
I just looked up an item from Ebay, but just wondering if I could install 'em by myself.
Is it that easy??
A: Just having the lights isn't all there is to the job. You also need to be able to switch them on/off and that may not be part of the existing wiring to the control switch you have. Consequently, you may need to install a second switch on your dash or the column.
I have a similar desire; my Corolla LE doesn't have the fog lights that come on the cheaper S model.
Q: Toyota Recall on 2007 Camry?
So I had a accident 2 weeks ago in my 2007 toyota camry (one of the vehicles that have been on the recall list for toyota). Come to find out my car was a total loss, I was driving and all of a sudden my gas pedal accelarated to the point where I missed a curve and I could not control it. Now the insurance company only paid the value of the care which is $10,500.00 and I have to pay the balance of $6000.00. Does any one know what I can do in this case. I have contacted toyota and they say they can't do nothing about it. I need advice.
A: As of right now, I have not heard of any one successfully sue Toyota. Talk to your insurance agent maybe they can help you more. Don't forget to mention the Toyota Pedal problem and the recall.
Q: I wanna return 2007 Toyota Camry for safety concern!!?
Toyota stopped making vehicles and they recall more then 200,000 vehicles. For that reason i wish to return my 2007 toyota camry. Is this still consider to be voluntary reposession? am i going to loose money?
A: i wouldnt even worry about it. there were only a handful of toyotas even recalled besides the recalls were on 08and 09 models not 07s dont worry your toyota will be fine i wouldnt go through the trouble to give the car back.
Q: Which should I buy, a $16700 used 2007 Toyota Camry w/ 39000 mi on it, or a $10,000 Camry w/ 100000 mi on it?
I have heard that a Toyota Camry can run for around 300,000 miles. I want the best value for my $$$, but I don't want to buy a car too cheap that will break down.
A: Hmm that's a tough one. The bad thing about getting a car that is over 100.000 miles is that's the time when you will need to start replacing parts. I would probably get it tho because it is cheaper and you will have extra money to fix things that do go wrong. Toyota's are good cars like Hondas..they last forever!
Q: Has anyone who owns a 2007 Toyota Camry had an Oxygen Sensor problem?
A: never heard of it!
Q: What miles per gallon does a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid Sedan 4D do?
A: 33-34mpg
dont get a hybrid becuz the battery has to be replaced after 8 years and it costs like $1000
waste of $$$$$
Q: I have a 2007 toyota camry and asking, how much would it cost to have key less entry installed or show a link.?
Please send a link to a instructional page so I can install it myself since I already have the key ready. Thank You! :)
A: 1 sell it buy the car you want...
2 dealer refit...1500 to 2500 dollars
3 go to junkyard and strip out a car....still cost maybe 1000
Q: Just purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry with an IPOD direct input, will my music folders show up on the display?
And what cable will I need?
A: You should be able to plug the iPod directly into the interface.
Q: 2007 Toyota Camry shaking at highway speeds, not a problem for Toyota?
After just 500 miles my new 2007 Toyota Camry started shaking at highway speeds. I brought it into the dealer a couple times, no improvement. I went to a local tire dealer, who tried four different sets of tires, and two alingnments on the car, and then finally gave up. I went back to the dealer, who test drove it today, and said that the shaking was "normal operating condition" and that Toyota would do nothing for me.
Dealer said he had seen this a number of times, and Toyota would do nothing for me. This is my brand new, most expensive car I've ever owned. I can't drive the car the way it is. Any ideas on what I can do from here.
A: ask the dealer to test drive the vehicle with you and then ask them to test drive another new car and show them the difference. they wont be able to deny it if they feel the difference
Q: What car is faster? The 2007 Honda Accord SE or the 2007 Toyota Camry SE (4 cylinder)?
Well actually matt k, Both SE's are 4 cylinders. There is no such thing as an 07 6 cylinder Accord "SE"
Well were talking about HONDA not HYUNDAI, haha. But i can guarentee a hyundai in the same class as a Honda will never win. Guarentee
A: You're right. SE Accords have always been 4 cylinders but they generally make them the last year before a minor or major model change. In a race, I'd have to give it to Honda. Not based just on power, but the Honda Accord has a more aggressive gear ratio than a Camry. Rule of thumb: Honda Accords are more driver's cars; Toyota Camrys are more people's cars. Both are great but they have different personalities even when comparably equipped.
Q: 2007 Nissan Altima vs 2007 Toyota Camry?
I just took out a new 2007 nissan altima 2.5 SL but i hear alot of people saying that the camry is better. In my opinion nissan is better than toyota. I want to know the opinion of the people
A: The 07 Altima is all new, as is the 07 Camry. The Camry has a softer ride over the Altima, better mileage, and a 6 speed automatic and is pretty fast with the 3.5 V6. The Altima has push button ignition, a CVT transmission, and in my opinion looks better than the Camry. Toyota has the typical perfect fit and finish, but Nissan has the "excitement" factor. It's a pretty even comparison, but if it was me buying either of these two cars, it'll have to be the Altima. That's because there's a serious transmission problem with the 07 Camry, and has resulted in 1 death so far.
If you like coupes, the Altima is coming out in a coupe version, and it looks pretty sweet.
Q: Anyone have a 2007 toyota camry? Pros and Cons?
Any experience with the car? Please let me know...I am looking at a toyota camry (2007). Let me know what you think. Thanks.
A: I have the camry 2007 SE with leather interior, just bought last month. It looks great and drives smoothly but lacks the power for the 4-cylinder. The interior is a little cheap, too much plastic. Overall, I love the car. Make sure you get the SE trim, it looks much better than other trims. Dont pay more than 20000 plus tax for it with the SE base
