About CSA

What is CSA?

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) promotes fresh produce and local agriculture, creating relationships between local farmers and New Yorkers. This relationship benefits all participants, boosting individual, community, economic, and environmental health.

How Does CSA Work?

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a partnership between a local farmer and members of a “city group.” Members make a season-long commitment to the farmer through purchase of a “farm share.” Payment is made before the season begins, ensuring the capital necessary to purchase seeds, equipment, and supplies. Please visit the memberships page for information about how to join.
